Scarlett Sinner!!! Another excellent book by Brenda Barrett!!!! Troy Scarlett and Chelsea dated through college and decided to get married. Chelsea was very insecure during their college years and would break up with Troy at the drop of a dime. Troy had a one night stand with Erin; one of the wild girls on the college campus. Troy had fathered a child with Erin and Chelsea refuse to have any dealings with this little boy. Will Chelsea walk away from her marriage for good?
As usual this author did not disappoint. I love the way the story brought in past issues and connected them with their current situation. There were many times that I wasn't sure which direction the story would take and for that I'm grateful. Usually I read books that I can already tell where the book is going but that was not the case with this book. There were times when I would laugh there were times when I got angry there was a couple of times that I was even a little sad. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
This was such a nice read. I love Troy and Chelsea together even though she was getting on my nerves, I truly understand her point of view( no one can tell you when to get over hurt) The Starlets are such nice family. And I love how you wrote it were Troy was afraid then became and instant father to Todd. Thank God Ricky MOM saved Chelsea too. I love your writing.
This book brought tears to my eyes. I had to pause many times. Chapter 16 is amazing!!! One thing that came out strong is that we should not be too rushed in making decisions, with time we realise what matters to us and what we are willing to live with. Bob Marley said "The truth is everyone is going to hurt you, you just got to find the ones worth suffering for."
Another great book by Brenda Barrett. The story of Chelsea and Troy kept me reading into the late hours. I loved the ending and I'm sure you will too. I recommend this book to everyone who loves romance novels.
I didn't like the way his wife just wouldn't give hI'm the time a day. Yet when it was his turn he didn't shut the door on her face, which prove how much he loved her nonetheless.
LOOKING forward to book 3. Happy thing worked out for Chelsea and Troy. It's sad to see someone like Ricky become so obsessed with the destruction of another.
The scarlet family series is very eventful series. The stories of the two brothers were very thought provoking and i await the other books in the series
