I knew very little about river cruising until I read this book. The information answered all of my questions and allowed me to speak intelligently to my travel and the various river cruise companies. Although the book is three years old the information was very current. I have never been disappointed with a Frommer Travel Guide since I purchased my first Europe on Five Dollars a Day back in the 1960's. As usually, this was very readable and down to earth
