I am happy to say that I passed all 3 parts of the SEE on my first try, using both the passkey review book and workbook. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because there are quite a few mistakes in the workbook, which are easily caught if you have already read and understand the material. However, I am not sure if just anyone can rely on just these books and pass the SEE. I have relevant work experience and used free online test banks (FF Academy, Gleim) to supplement, and found that some questions online were identical to the actual exam. The questions in the workbook were similar, but I found them a bit easier than the actual test questions. All in all, it is a much better deal to get these books than pay for some expensive program that guarantees results. You are spending enough money already just to sit for them!
The work book is important in my opinion because it lets you practice before the exam and refresh all the knowledge you need for it.By the way, I have tried Gleim (it looks like someone copy and paste the text, not easy to read as Passkey EA Review is) and Tax MAMA is too pricey and she uses Gleim as well (I saw my friend interact a couple of occasion in her online class). I actually got discouraged to pass the EA exam when I studied from GLEIM because it is so dry (I bought Gleim for 2 years and let them dust since it made me believed that the EA exam was very complicated).By the way I am not affiliated with Passkey and this only reflects my opinion. I just took the time to put this review out there because Passkey EA review deserves it. It is very affordable and got me through all my examinations which I am very happy for.
Overall, this product works. There are lots of questions and I passed the exam after using it. However, I noticed on a couple occasions that some of the answers are incorrect or the question leaves out a key part such as "not." Review the answers carefully to make sure that they actually make sense.
I just took the Part I exam for enrolled agents last July 5, 2013 and I am happy to say that I passed it using the PassKey EA Review Workbook with the Six Complete Enrolled Agent Practice Exams 2013-2014 Edition. The book was very helpful in passing the exam because it was very comprehensive. In addition, I learned so much from the review workbook - concepts and IRS rules that I didn't know before. I highly recommend this book to those who want to take the EA exams. I am now studying for Part II and am confident that I will pass it on my first try.Thank you to the authors.
This is awesome book. It is truly a Passkey, Its the only book I study for the EA exams and I pass the three parts at a sitting between Sept and Dec, 2013. The book is very detailed and cover the essentials for the EA exams.
Well organized and written with a lot of thought in helping the reader fathom the complexities of the U.S. Internal Revenue code to pass the EA exam. So far passed Parts 1 and 3 first time. Last exam scheduled next week.
This Book helped me to pass all parts of Enrolled Agent exams. Thank you for writing this book. Must have! if you want to pass EA exams.
Good book for studying for the IRS enrolled agent exam. I would recommend for anyone how will take the exam.
